Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. Every class is designed to meet you where you are — whether you've never set foot in a gym or you're a seasoned athlete returning to training after having a baby. Christine assesses each participant's starting point and modifies as needed.
Yes — children are welcome at every session. You don't need to arrange childcare to attend. Babies and toddlers are part of the environment. You are responsible for your child during the session, but the space is set up to accommodate this comfortably. Please bring along a few toys for your child to play with and snacks as needed. A mat is a good idea if they like to lie on the floor.
For group classes and personal training, the general guidance is 6 weeks postnatal for vaginal deliveries and 12 weeks postnatal for cesarean deliveries — though this varies depending on your birth and recovery and must be authorised by your doctor. For Postnatal Core Restore specifically, 6 weeks is the minimum. Christine will discuss your individual situation before your first session.
Life with kids is unpredictable — missed sessions on a term pass are not refundable, but you can discussion attendance options with Christine, such as catching up by attending at alternative time.
Sometimes, depending on class availability. Enquire and Christine will let you know what's possible. If there's a spot available, a pro-rata arrangement may apply so you're not paying for weeks already passed.
Please mention it in your enquiry. Christine has personal experience with Type 1 diabetes and some chronic health conditions and approaches every participant's situation with genuine care and pragmatism — not a blanket exclusion. Most conditions can be accommodated with appropriate modifications.
No. However, New members are welcome to try a session for just $10 before committing to the term. Mention you'd like a trial when you enquire and Christine will arrange it — no ongoing obligation, no pressure.
Generally, no — all Everyday Fit sessions are in-person only, held at the Everyday Fit studio inside Better Backs or at Mitcham Baptist Church. Online or remote training is only offered to existing clients who wish to continue training while travelling or working elsewhere. If you are not based in or close to the Mitcham area in Melbourne, Victoria, this service may not suit you - but you are welcome to enquire and discuss your circumstances.
